The Colony is home to fourteen chic, multi-bedroom residences which include Villas, Bungalows and Penthouses that are exclusive and fashionable – and have been decorated, individually, for those in residence for one month (or more) for Palm Beach’s social season. 

Each residence boasts its own decorative scheme, with custom accents and furniture along with its own entrance and amenities. In our residence program, the difference is in the details: each reservation is customized to be distinctive and memorable. Embrace the historic town of Palm Beach from our pink shores. There’s no place like home, unless it’s The Colony.

THE CHAIRISH VILLA

The Colony Hotel partnered with Chairish, America’s premier emporium for vintage and antique furnishings to redesign this sun-filled villa. Chairish’s unparalleled historical design expertise and keen eye for chic and playful irreverence leaves no detail untouched in this luxurious retreat reimagining classic Palm Beach design. This villa mixes historically significant Palm Beach design themes with modern additions like contemporary art, mid-century furnishings, and sophisticated layering. It incorporates classic Palm Beach motifs such as Chinoiserie with faux bamboo and Chinese Chippendale silhouettes and hand-painted flourishes. Tropical animalia appears across lighting, accessories and Schumacher Hospitality fabrics and wallpapers. The colors of the villa are feminine and powdery, appropriate to Florida’s breezy verdant climate.

Outfitted with works from over 20 artists, Kohler fixtures, Schumacher fabrics and wallpaper, and coveted unexpected vintage furnishings, this villa embodies the spirit of Palm Beach. It’s classic, yet whimsical; fashionable, yet sustainable, and is the perfect Palm Beach escape. Did we mention the ocean view?

THE GOOP VILLA

Reimagined by goop and designed by Ronen Lev, the goop Villa mirrors the modern, feminine Parisian aesthetic that goop is renowned for, blended with the vibrant spirit of Palm Beach. The designs pays homage to the villa’s dual influences seamlessly weaving together woven textures and floral motifs: a heartfelt tribute to the elegance and romance of Paris and the natural beauty of Palm Beach.

As you enter the villa, arched elements and organic forms create a visual narrative that celebrates fluidity and grace, and spotlights the goop x Fromental botanical wallpaper. The villa is filled with a curated selection of collectible designs, along with exclusive furniture and fixtures from artistic design collaborators, and handcrafted wool rugs. Throughout the space, goop opted for paint by Farrow & Ball, Monogram appliances and fixtures by Brizo. Guests in the goop Villa will also find bathrooms stocked with goop skincare and body products, including goop’s cult favorite Micoderm Instant Glow Exfoliator.

VILLA JASMINE BY AERIN

Global luxury lifestyle brand AERIN and The Colony Hotel debuted Villa Jasmine, a guest villa designed and curated by Aerin Lauder, in January 2021. Villa Jasmine offers a direct private entrance, two generous master bedrooms, two full-size bathrooms, kitchen and gracious living and dining areas, each opening out to the fountained villa courtyard or front patio via French doors. Original historical details abound, including old growth pecky cypress doors and fireplace.

The interior décor speaks to the natural beauty of Palm Beach embellished with a touch of old-world glamour. The color palette is bright and airy, in pale pinks, greens, and blues against dazzling white, evoking the pastel shades of local architecture and hues of the coastal landscape. The overall feel of the interior is classic yet contemporary, capturing Aerin Lauder’s personal style in details such as AERIN luxury tabletop dining service in the kitchen, and curated books and AERIN table games throughout.

VILLA BOUGAINVILLEA AKA THE OWNERS’ VILLA

Villa Bougainvillea is commonly referred to as the ‘Owner’s Villa.’ This chic and modern apartment is the Wetenhall Family’s interpretation of Palm Beach style, recently refreshed by The Colony Hotel owner and CEO, Sarah Wetenhall. The pastel color palette creates a calming, relaxing environment throughout – and includes many details original to the historic structure, such as terra-cotta floor tiles and a carved cement fireplace. The Villa features a private terrace and yard, as well as a central courtyard with an its antique 1922 fountain. Villa Bougainvillea has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, an open plan dining/living room and a kitchen.

Debuted in December 2019, this grand and retro-chic choice is the result of a collaboration between The Colony Hotel and Serena & Lily. Villa Lantana reminds us of a fashionable friend’s beach house, featuring charmed details like rattan furnishings and stripes. VILLA POINCIANA BY KEMBLE INTERIORS

Kemble Interiors has refreshed this luxurious residence with blue details and modern furnishings to create the most luxe in The Colony’s villa collection. Villa Poinciana is home to two en-suite bedrooms, which share a dining/living room, a kitchen, and a third bathroom. Perhaps the most desirable element of this villa is the sun-drenched expansive patio overlooking the private villa pool.

VILLA ARALIA BY MARK SIKES

Villa Aralia was refreshed by AD100 interior designer and best-selling author, Mark D. Sikes. This villa exemplifies Sikes’ fresh take on classic aesthetics and updated American sensibility, and is the latest guest apartment at The Colony to receive careful restoration and ultra-chic update in partnership with a leading design tastemaker. Sikes’ signature blue and white interiors create a space as classic and timeless as Palm Beach, but as fun and chic as the Colony.

THE CABANA BUNGALOW

Designed in partnership with Cabana’s founder and editor-in-chief Martina Mondadori and renowned designer Ashley Hicks, the Cabana Bungalow serves as a tribute to the classic elegance captured within the pages of its magazine. The design process served as an opportunity to dive into the brand’s archive, drawing inspiration from the legendary interiors and decorators of the past.
In celebration of the spirit of discovery, beauty, and the preservation of craft, the Cabana Bungalow introduces a bookable residence adjacent to the historic Colony Hotel that allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the brand’s rich and storied aesthetic, while presenting Cabana’s own unique interpretation of Palm Beach style.
The bungalow’s interior spaces pay homage to late, iconic designers such as Italian decorator Verde Visconti, Yves Saint Laurent, and David Hicks. The interior décor creates an immersive and inviting atmosphere, balancing both elegance and comfort.
