A girl from Pokhrovskoy-Richardalovsky, Ukraine, sent a Facebook message to a local animal shelter, claiming that near her home, an owner had left two miserable dogs chained up for a month.
The girl, named Xenia, detected a putrid smell coming from the house, but her concerns were ridiculed. In a panic, Xenia deleted the post.
The rescue team from the local shelter had no contact details, address, or phone number. After seeing the sad photos, they decided to locate and save the two poor pets.
After nearly three hours of travel and investigation, they arrived at the house. Breaking the lock, they entered to find a terrible stench of decay. Tragically, one of the dogs did not survive.
The other dog, a Labrador, was just skin and bones and was terribly ill. It had been starving for days, crying profusely with tears still flowing. The poor animal was deeply saddened, scared, and hesitant to look at its rescuer.
They named him Boss. The exhausted puppy was transported to the vet, and Boss underwent a blood transfusion. The puppy will be cared for by the vet for some time.
Boss has a fantastic appetite and is eating well, which is wonderful. He is an exceptionally intelligent dog.
Boss improves every day, was released, and has been placed in a temporary home while waiting for a permanent one.
Finally, something fantastic happened: Boss was adopted by a family in Kiev, and his magnificent adventure has begun.
We now look forward to seeing the joyful days of this angel. Boss is truly beautiful, loves everything, and has a great family.
“We deeply appreciate his new family and will always miss you, Boss.”
