Each sweater took about four weeks to create, according to Wildlife SOS co-founder Kartick Satyanarayan. The volunteers also added a vibrant toᴜсһ to the elephant-sized clothing.

So far, three elephants have received their sweaters, and there are hopes that the rest will have the chance to sport similar outfits next year.

In the meantime, the sanctuary provides less fashionable but equally warm blankets to keep the elephants comfortable.

Ensuring the happiness and comfort of these elephants is the sanctuary’s main priority, particularly given their history of hardship.

Satyanarayan emphasized the importance of protecting the elephants from the һагѕһ winter, as they are susceptible to ailments such as pneumonia due to past аЬᴜѕe.

The cold weather can also worsen arthritis, a common issue for the sanctuary’s rescued elephants.
